ouch, that was one of my favorite places. it makes you think things are spiralling downward. ugh
Blue, the construction is to the left of the cemetery. The cemetery itself is still being cared for with much TLC.
Mel: I forgot to mention that when we were at the cemetery a guy who was working there walked up and asked us if we needed anything or "did we have any questions", and "do you want to go into the little chapel? The gardener over there, he's worked here for 20 (?) years and he'd be more than happy to unlock it for you." It was only after we'd thanked him for his kindness and moved on in our hurry to make an appointment that we realized what he'd said his name was. Sheker. ...Maybe??
Makes you realize that progress, while expedient, isn't always pleasant.
